I want to fix 18mm thick OSB boards to 45/220 joists. Since I don't have a nail gun, I'll only use screws. And since I'm not an expert, I'm using extra screws to be sure my boards don't move. A 30mm thread length on a 50mm screw length will prevent any thread damage in my 18mm OSB.
