This batch of structural bolts completes a batch of similar 25U pieces that I already have. Their future use is to create a compression system between beams placed on either side of a wall to be reinforced as part of a rehabilitation. The washers complete the implementation of the structural bolts. As it is a fairly light wall (cellular concrete structure whose mechanical resistance is degraded) with an internal height of 2.50m, this will be replaced in its load-bearing role by a timber-framed wall linked to the compression system on the external side of a gable (with returns on the facades for ITE) and resting on a base + foundation assembly with underpinning of the existing foundation (RC and masonry assembly already completed). All the hardware will therefore remain in place and will be integrated, taking into account the optional construction of an interior lining and the timber-framed wall on the exterior side. However, the choice of square-headed structural bolts (slightly recessed) will ensure an interesting aesthetic for the interior structure in bare frame, as long as the interior lining is not carried out. For each compression span of 2.50 interior height 2.70m max. of exterior height (spacing of 50-60cm), 4 structural bolts are provided.
