Hello, we use 6x260 frame screws for quick fixing of struts on split wooden stakes outdoors. They often have large uneven sections. The anti-splitting tip finish limits splitting and promotes the longevity of the assemblies Our stakes are raw in chestnut or acacia of variable and coarse sections between 100 and 200mm. The biased fixing was previously carried out with galvanized wire. It is much faster now.
