This product was used following a drilling error in glued laminated timber beams. The drilling diameter being too large, we were able to insert these spacers and then slide a metal pin into them. The diameter of the hole in the wood is 19mm instead of 12mm to accommodate 12mm diameter metal pins. With these spacers, we can neatly fill the 19mm diameter holes and insert the 12mm diameter metal pins.
