What is the blue ruspert coating on the concrete screw?

The blue ruspert coating of the concrete screw is an organic coating composed of 3 layers:

• A first layer of zinc, applied directly to the materialbase and a minimum thickness of 5 ÿm.

• A second layer of chemical conversion of chromium (passivation), with a thickness of approximately 1 ÿm.

• A third layer of epoxy resin, applied twice successively with a drying time in between and which have a thickness of approximately 7 ÿm each.

Therefore, the final coating thickness is greater than 20 ÿm.

The application of the epoxy layers is done by immersion of the product, centrifuged at low speed and subjected to a temperature of 180-200ºC for 30-35 minutes of drying.

The advantages of this coating are:

• Acid and alkali resistance

• Reduction of galvanic couple in contact with metals

• No effect by hydrogen absorption

• No metallographic or hardness changes due to its low processing temperature

• Chromium VI free

• Compliant with Reach and RoSH regulations

• Different colors available (silver, blue, yellow, green, etc.)

• Red corrosion resistance in ISO salt spray chamber 9227> 600 hours

• Superior corrosion resistance compared to hot-dip galvanizing (HDG) 45 ÿm thick.
