PROCESS

Zintek® is a zinc flake coating, the principle of which is to apply a layer of zinc by immersion and then baking in an organo-mineral zinc-aluminium resin. This protective zinc-aluminium base layer can be supplemented by finishing layers (Techseal®) to improve corrosion resistance, paint the parts and/or adjust the friction coefficients. This type of production does not lead to embrittlement of the part due to the hydrogen inclusions, and degassing is unnecessary. Firing at low temperatures (200°C), well below tempering temperatures, limits the risks of modifying the characteristics of heat-treated metals. Processes used : - Barrel coatings (bulk) for small, medium and large series. - Attachment coatings for small and medium series.
