Anchoring element for a shade sail and its structure

Project to train a trumpet vine on a facade. The project consists of creating a discreet and durable support to guide a trumpet vine along the wall to the right of the garage door. The support will take the form of five vertical stainless steel cables spaced evenly across a width of 75 cm and a usable height of approximately 2.36 m. The cables will be fixed at the top with adjustable stainless steel tensioners and at the bottom with fixed stainless steel brackets to ensure lasting tension. To keep the cables approximately 50 mm from the facade and limit their sagging under the weight of the vine, each cable will be guided at mid-height by a stainless steel eye bolt that serves only as a guide, without locking the cable. In a second stage, a horizontal stainless steel cable line will be installed on the other side of the garage, in order to extend the trellising and allow the trumpet vine to develop gradually on part of this side, respecting the architecture of the building. Materials used: 4 mm stainless steel cable, reference 9804004018_1 (5 vertical cables); A4 stainless steel turnbuckles with M5x70 hook eye, reference 9633050018_1 (5 units); Fixed wall fixings: 6x100 wooden eye bolt, 50 mm thread, 130 mm total length; 15 mm A2 stainless steel eye, reference 8673610018_5 (10 units); Intermediate guides: 6x100 wooden eye bolt, 50 mm thread, 130 mm total length; 15 mm A2 stainless steel eye, reference 8673610018_5 (5 units); A4 stainless steel thimble, 4 mm diameter, reference 9640000418_10; and A4 stainless steel double flat cable clamp. 4-piece set, reference 9641000418_1, for fixing the 4 mm stainless steel cable to the tensioner and the eye bolt. 8 x 40 mm anchors for concrete support. The assembly will offer robust support, virtually invisible once the vegetation has developed, while preserving the contemporary aesthetics of the facade and allowing harmonious plant growth.

Will use to fix a 4mm cable to climb a climbing hydrangea on a carport made of wood. The choice of stainless steel will allow greater durability of the structure. The carport has wooden posts and purlins compatible with a 6x50mm thread. Used with a 4mm stainless steel cable from Nirosta, Duplex cable ties with heart thimbles from Rybtd.
